(Please note that regular Shabbat services are not scheduled during September.  There will be a special Sukkot service on 9/29/18.)

 

 

 

 

  • Sunday, September 9, 2018: Erev Rosh Hashanah

  • Monday, September 10, 2018: 1st Day Rosh Hashanah

  • Tuesday, September 11, 2018: 2nd Day Rosh Hashanah

  • Tuesday, September, 18, 2018: Kol Nidre

  • Wednesday, September 19, 2018: Yom Kippur

  • Saturday, September 29, 2018: Sukkot

Extended family members and visitors are welcome.  Tickets are not required.

SHABBAT

Regular Shabbat Services will be scheduled beginning in October.

October, 2018 - May, 2019: 

A Shabbaton weekend will be scheduled twice each month.  Services are followed by a vegetarian potluck luncheon and adult Torah study.  Other programs will be scheduled for Saturday afternoon and evening.  Religious school will generally be held on Sunday mornings, and other events will be scheduled as developed.

HOLIDAYS AND SPECIAL SERVICES

Religious services take place at Temple Israel on Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Simchat Torah, Chanukah, Tu B’Shevat, Purim, and Passover. During Passover, Temple Israel schedules a community potluck seder.

Temple Israel actively participates in the Interfaith Community and Interfaith Clergy Association in the North Quabbin region, including participation in an annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service and an Interfaith Holocaust Remembrance Day program.
